Blues Circle plays old fashioned Chicago style blues with a modern and playful twist. Harmonica player Jerry Laufer, vocalist Opal Rose, guitarists Doug Chanin and Gordon Richey, along with drummer Bill Foley, combine their favorite versions of blues standards to create new and unique interpretations of familiar classics. The band also throws in some blues influenced rock and other genres to keep things fun and interesting. Since the beginning, this self-described "fun little blues band" has built a loyal following of like-minded blues lovers and continues to introduce new fans to the magic of blues music.
